| Mansard Cottage is a cosy c18th century cottage which has been tastefully renovated and is available for 2 people. It retains many period features including exposed beams and tiled
floors. Ground floor The well equipped pine kitchen has built in electric cooker, gas hob, fridge, extractor fan, stainless steel sink, automatic washing machine, and microwave oven. The lounge is comfortably furnished and has a brick fireplace with a gas fired “woodburner type” stove. There is a colour television and various board games. A small lobby leads to the well appointed bathroom. First floor The bedroom has a King Size double bed which can be split into twin beds if required. There is a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cupboards. Mansard cottage has full gas fired central heating with a radiator in every room. All the downstairs radiators are period cast iron type. The lounge, bedroom, & stairs are all fitted with wool carpets. Other features include:- water softener, emergency lighting to stairs, smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and fire blanket. All items of bed linen, towels, teacloths, and dishcloths are provided. Electricity is also included in the price. Gas used for central heating is included during winter months - see price list. Access to the cottage is from a quiet cul-de-sac where there is off road parking. The cottage is cleaned and maintained by the owners who live nearby Mansard Cottage adjoins The Briars, our other holiday cottage. |
